Overview

The Kedarnath Yatra from Delhi for 4 nights and 5 days is a spiritual and scenic journey through the majestic Himalayas. The trip typically begins with a drive from Delhi to Haridwar or Rishikesh, where you can explore the ghats and enjoy the Ganga Aarti. The next day, the journey continues to Guptkashi or Sonprayag, offering picturesque views of lush valleys and towering mountains. On the third day, a trek or a helicopter ride takes you to Kedarnath, home to the revered Kedarnath Temple, nestled amid breathtaking snow-clad peaks. After seeking blessings and exploring the serene surroundings, the return journey covers Rudraprayag or Srinagar, where you can admire the confluence of rivers and local attractions. The trip concludes with a drive back to Delhi, leaving you spiritually rejuvenated and filled with memories of divine beauty.

Itinerary

DAY 1 : Delhi To Haridwar
- (Drive -245 Km /05 Hours Approx.)
- Tonight start your journey to Haridwar from Delhi.
DAY 2 : Haridwar To GuptkashIi
- (Drive -180 Km /04 Hours Approx.)
- Today start your journey to Guptkashi from Haridwar
  and overnight stay at in hotel
DAY 3 : Guptkashi To Gaurikund
- (Drive- 30Kms/02 Hrs approx) Gaurikund To
  Kedarnath (17Kms trek- one way)
- Start the drive at 0530 hrs sharp to Gaurikund.
  Sonprayag is the closest stop before Gaurikund at
  distance of 06Kms. Private Vehicles are allowed only
  till Sonprayag. (Hire the local vehicle from
  Sonprayag to Gaurikund)
- Upon arrival start the trek on the zigzag and well
  laid trail to Kedarnath or there are other options of
  pony or Doli available on rent.
- On arrival check-in at hotel, freshen up and visit
  Kedarnath Ji. Pay homage to divine statue of Nandi
  bull, located at the temple entrance gate. Attend
  the evening Arti and offer your prayers to Lord
  Shiva.
- You can also visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi, the
  grave of Adi Guru Shankaracharya, located at the
  premises of Kedarnath temple which is also one of
  the most popular spot at Kedarnath. After offering
  prayers get back to hotel for an overnight stay.
- Kedarnath Dham is one of the pre-eminent divine
  temple of Lord Shiva. Temple is situated in a breathtaking location, near the source of Mandakini River.
  Kedarnath temple is highest located among the 12
  Jyotirlingas and is also the most important temple
  among the Panch Kedars (group of five Shiva temples
  in Garhwal Himalayas.
DAY 4 : Kedarnath To Guptkashi
- (Drive – 120 Kms/05 Hrs approx.)
- In the morning participate the arti at and abhishek
  at Kedarnath temple & take blessing from
  Kedarnath ji. Latter after breakfast trek down to
  same way where you come from. On arrival
  Gaurikund Drive to Guptkashi and check into a
  hotel followed by dinner & overnight stay.
DAY 5 : Guptkashi To Delhi
- (Drive – 430 Kms/12 Hrs approx.)
- In the morning after having breakfast drive towards
  Delhi via Rishikesh, Haridwar. On arrival it’s time
  to conclude the lifetime religious tour of Kedarnath
  Dham.
